'When Russia is trying to kill, God gives new life'
"Many Ukrainian ladies like me, pregnant, were sitting in this dirty, dark bomb shelter, trying to protect their treasures," recalls Maryna Korolova.
She gave birth to Emmanuelle after fleeing Kyiv with her husband and two young sons in 2022.
"When Russia [is] trying to kill, God gives new life," said Maryna in an interview marking the three-year anniversary of the war.
The family moved to Wales when Emmanuelle was two months old.
"Wales became our second home in the most dramatical moment in our lives," Maryna said.
"Local people became our second family."
