Man pleads guilty to stabbing five at warehouse

A man has admitted to stabbing five people at an distribution centre in south London where he used to work.

Babah Sesay attacked his former colleagues at the commercial warehouse in Marlowe Way, Beddington, at about 10:15 GMT on 23 January.

All five of the men who were attacked, one in his 50s, two in their 30s and two in their 20s, were taken to hospital, but none had serious injuries.

Sesay, 31, from the Rodney Estate in Southwark, south London, fled the scene and was arrested by police an hour later at a nearby restaurant, Croydon Crown Court heard on Thursday.

He was taken to hospital with minor injuries following his arrest, before being taken into custody.

Sesay will be sentenced at Croydon Crown Court on 5 June, after pleading guilty.
