Helicopter visit thrills World War Two pilot, 102

A classroom assistant who is still working at the age of 102 has received a big surprise... and a reminder of his younger days.

Peter Davies, who served as a World War Two glider pilot, is a much-loved volunteer at Dean Valley Community Primary School in Bollington, Cheshire.

Two years ago, at the tender age of 100, he was awarded a British Empire Medal in recognition of his work helping children to read.

Staff and pupils at the school decided Peter deserved another treat - the visit of a Wildcat helicopter.
