The Latitude Festival 2011 got underway on Thursday, 14 July. The old pontoon footbridge has been replaced by a permanent structure and this picture of it was taken from the new smaller footbridge near the Sunrise Arena.
The National have been headliners on the second stage before, but they headlined on the main stage in 2011 on Friday, 15 July.
Isobel Campbell and Mark Lanegan brought their blend of Celtic Americana to the Obelisk stage in the mid-afternoon Friday sunshine.
Paloma Faith brought an explosion of colour to the Obelisk stage.
The Electric Hotel was built on the Latitude site. Festival-goers are given headphones which provide a soundtrack to a dance and theatre show.
Southwold singer-songwriter James Spankie was hand-picked by BBC Introducing in Suffolk to appear on the Lake Stage, which is curated by BBC Radio One presenter Huw Stephens.
BBC Introducing in Suffolk was broadcast live from the festival site, featuring a backstage acoustic set from Ipswich's The B. Goodes. The band played on the Lake Stage on Saturday.
The BBC Introducing broadcast ended just in time to avoid being drowned out by The Vaccines, who were playing in the neighbouring Word Arena.
Ipswich-based DanceEast provided lessons in '1980s party', and many other forms of dance, under their gazebo in the central area of the festival.
KT Tunstall headlined at the inaugural Harvest at Jimmy's festival near Ipswich in 2009, and she returned to the county to appear on the Obelisk stage.
After a spot of bother surrounding his Christ On A Bike show in Lowestoft earlier in the year, Richard Herring returned to Suffolk to offer his reflections on love.
Jenny and Johnny brought their jingly pop to the Sunrise Arena in the woods, and they also joined Wild Beasts on the main stage for a guest appearance.
Avi Buffalo give a plug for a Leeds venue in the Word Arena.
Bombay Bicycle Club headlined the Word Arena.
