A man has been charged after a car hit a house on a village street.
A black Volvo XC90 crashed into a red Vauxhall Astra, which then smashed through the front of the semi-detached house on Trevithick Place in Willaston, near Nantwich, Cheshire, at about 16:00 GMT on Sunday, Cheshire Police said.
The 53-year-old has been charged with criminal damage recklessly endangering life and dangerous driving.
The man, from Wistaston, Cheshire, has also been accused of failing to provide a specimen of breath and failing to stop after an accident.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Warrington Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
