Man denies setting fire to carpet during disorder

A man accused of taking part in widespread disorder in a Leeds suburb last summer is set to go on trial.
Robert Lockwood, 59, is accused of setting fire to a roll of carpet during the disturbances in the Harehills area on 18 July.
Mr Lockwood, of Brecon Approach, Gipton, pleaded not guilty to a single charge of arson at Leeds Crown Court on Thursday.
His trial is scheduled to start on 10 November and is expected to run for two days.
