People are gathering outside the crematorium in Heath Hayes, police say

Police in Staffordshire are urging people to drive responsibly on a road in Cannock where a man died earlier this year, after reports of dangerous driving.

They said there had been frequent gatherings at the entrance of the crematorium on Norton Road in Heath Hayes.

Officers said they involved people who knew 21-year-old Joshua Bradley, who died in a crash on 6 April.

A small number of drivers' behaviour had been causing concern to local residents they added.

Insp Lee Walker, of Cannock local policing team, said: "We know that the vast majority of those meeting up to pay their respects to Joshua are doing so responsibly and safely, but we want to be clear that dangerous driving will not be tolerated and will be met with police action."

Officers were continuing to support Mr Bradley's family, he said.

The family said they supported efforts to keep people safe and asked that the local community was respected.
