A father who died after crashing into a wall was "loved by all", his family said.

Christopher Jones, 39, was driving a silver Ford Focus when he was involved in the single-vehicle collision on the A436 in Notgrove, near Cheltenham, on 6 June.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

His family have now said in a tribute that he was "taken away far too early".

Describing him as a "much-loved father", son, brother, uncle and friend, his family said he was a "lover of golf and poker" and was also known as "quite a joker".

"He loved spending time with his daughter Beau who he doted on since the day she was born," they said.

"He was loved by all and his loss has left a big hole in the lives of those he has left behind," they added.
