Emergency services were called to a crash in Clacton Road, St Osyth, Essex Police said

A village road has been closed following a collision between a car and a motorcycle.

Essex Police said it was called to Clacton Road, St Osyth, Essex, at about 14:00 BST on Saturday.

A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The force appealed for anyone with any information to get in touch and said the closure was in place so emergency services could deal with the incident.
