Freezing rain and snow leads to multi-vehicle pileup in Oregon
A snow storm has caused chaos on an Oregon highway, with up to 30 vehicles involved in a large pileup. Several people were injured and four people were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. An SUV involved in the accident caught on fire, and authorities confirmed all occupants were able to escape. Winter storms have been sweeping across North America, bringing icy rainfall and more than a foot (30.48cm) of snow to some areas.
