Watch: Mountain team battle deep snow during simultaneous rescues
Cairngorm Mountain Rescue Team (CMRT) were called out to two simultaneous rescues on Monday evening.
Battling deep snow and poor visibility, the team rescued three people from the hills.
The first rescue was of a climber who had injured their lower leg after catching it with their crampon, and the second was of a couple who had intended to camp but then raised an SOS from their phone as conditions deteriorated.
All three were taken to safety.
It comes after a new yellow weather warning for snow and ice was issued for parts of the country.
