Remembering firefighter who lost her life on duty
A memorial service has been held for a firefighter who died while on duty.
Fleur Lombard died while fighting a blaze that broke out at a supermarket in Staple Hill in Bristol in 1996.
The 21-year-old was posthumously awarded the Queen's Gallantry Medal in 1998 in recognition of her bravery.
She was the first female firefighter to die on duty in peacetime Britain, and current crews gathered to remember her on Tuesday.
