Flooding: School and railway line close following heavy rain
A school and a railway line in mid Wales have been closed by flooding.
Pupils at Ysgol Calon Cymru's Llandrindod Wells campus were sent home following "low-level flooding", Powys council said.
Network Rail said the railway line between Machynlleth and Newtown had been closed by "heavy rain flooding".
Natural Resources Wales has warned people living near some rivers and estuaries to prepare for flooding.
It follows an earlier Met Office yellow warning for rain for most of the country.
Ten flood alerts have been issued by Natural Resources Wales.
A number of homes and businesses may be flooded and some bus and train services could be affected. Spray on roads could also increase journey times.

NRW advises people living in areas covered by the alerts to prepare a flood kit of essential items, monitor local water levels and flood forecasts and prepared to act on flood plans.
