Kingsley Pond toddler death: Woman held under Mental Health Act

A woman arrested following the death of a two-year-old girl found in a village pond has been detained under the Mental Health Act.
The girl, named locally as Annabel Mackey, was found in Kingsley Pond, near Bordon, Hampshire, on Sunday, shortly after she was reported missing.
She was pronounced dead in hospital on Monday.
The woman was arrested on suspicion of murder and remains under investigation by police.
The toddler was reported missing from her home nearby on Forge Road, Kingsley, at about 17:00 BST on Sunday, detectives previously said.

Police cordoned off a house on Forge Road, which is about 1,500ft (460m) from the large pond along a rough track.
Earlier, police boarded a raft to search the water with metal detectors.
Well-wishers have left bouquets, cards and candles at the water's edge.
Detectives have appealed for anyone who was in the Kingsley Pond area on Sunday afternoon to contact them.
