All but nine employees at Fife-based Greenfold Systems have been made redundant following the loss of a major contract.

A consultation on its plans to end manufacturing in Scotland with the loss of 400 jobs will run until 15 August.

Dunfermline-based Greenfold Systems told staff their jobs could go as a knock-on effect of Alexander Dennis planning to move operations to England.

The firm claims it would need almost 400 orders in the next two years to retain its Larbert and Falkirk sites.

The company intends to close two sites in Falkirk and Larbert, which could lead to the loss of 400 jobs.
