M11 lane closure to remain in place after car fire

One lane of the southbound M11 in Cambridgeshire is expected to remain closed until the evening after a vehicle fire.
National Highways said the closure has affected the motorway between junction 14 for Girton and junction 13 for Cambridge, with long queues in the area.
It added a full carriageway closure would be needed later "for emergency resurfacing works".
The road was fully closed from about 01:30 BST, with one lane opening at about 02:20. The cause of the fire was accidental, according to the fire service.
Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed two crews from Cambridge attended the blaze and remained on the scene until about 02:30.
A spokesperson said: "Wearing breathing apparatus firefighters used hose reels to extinguish a fire involving a car.
"Crews were at the scene until around 02:30."
