Gloucestershire in pics: Derby delight and sunsets

All eyes were on Kingsholm this weekend as high-flying Bristol Bears came to take on Gloucester in the big rugby derby in the West.
Home fans went home delighted thanks to a 53-28 win.
Elsewhere, signs of spring are visible across the county in the form of blooming daffodils and new lambs.
There was also an award win for NHS staff from Gloucestershire to celebrate.

Blooming lovely: Spring is well and truly here and these daffodils are brightening up the churchyard at St Mary's Church in Kempley.

New arrivals: It is the peak of lambing season in Gloucestershire, with these lambs photographed in Tewkesbury.

Reflective: One of our top picks this week was this stunning photo taken by Ladyday in Frampton on Severn. The unusual sky was captured beautifully in the reflection of the River Severn.

Eye say: Members of the county's innovative NHS eye health team have been recognised for their use of technology and working with other organisations in the OphthalSuite Community Ophthalmic Link programme by winning an award at the Health Service Journal Partnership Awards.

Sunset in Gloucester: This beautiful image was captured by our weather watcher Shaws View this week.

Unusual sight: A large glowing spiral visible in the night sky on Monday is believed to have been caused by a SpaceX rocket launch in the US. The Met Office said the shape was likely produced by a frozen plume of fuel from the rocket's exhaust, which reflected the sunlight and appeared to spin in the atmosphere.
