Driver killed after car crashes into hedge

A woman in her 70s has died after her car crashed into a hedge in Herefordshire, police have said.

The single-vehicle crash involved a black Ford Fiesta and happened at about 18:50 GMT on Tuesday at Upper Hill in Bush Bank, West Mercia Police said.

The woman, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was rescued from the car by bystanders but died at the scene, West Midlands Ambulance Service said.

Police have made an appeal for anybody with information or dashcam footage to get in touch.
