Man arrested over Tesco 'threats to kill' incident

A man has been arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill after an incident outside a supermarket.

Devon and Cornwall Police said officers were called to the Tesco car park on Branwell Lane, Penzance, at about 16:00 BST on 3 April.

The force said a man was approached and threatened during the incident before a brief altercation took place.

Police said a man in his 30s from the St Ives area had been arrested and bailed in connection with the incident, and asked anyone with information to get in touch.
