Driver caught doing 105mph with child, 9, on board

A motorist was stopped by police after being caught driving at 105mph (about 170km/h) with a nine-year-old in the back seat.
Essex Police said the driver was one of three caught at speeds of more than 100mph on the M11 on Sunday.
The motorist's insurance had expired an hour before being caught.
The other two drivers were clocked at 108mph and 106mph.
One of them was driving while disqualified and their vehicle was seized.
In a separate incident, a taxi carrying passengers was stopped for "middle lane hogging", which police said created unnecessary hazards for other vehicles.
The patrols were carried out during wet weather.
Sgt Will Willsher said: "I'd encourage every driver to always observe speed limits, especially in poor weather conditions.
"Driving at excessive speeds reduces reaction time, increases stopping distances and increases the severity of collisions, often resulting in serious injury or death."
