A nightclub in Boston has said it will ban people who "made it harder" for staff as they tried to resuscitate a customer.

Brown's Cocktails, on Dolphin Lane, closed early on Saturday after a "medical emergency".

In a statement, the venue said staff were "disappointed" with the behaviour of a "minority of people" during the incident.

A spokesperson for the venue said the customer was taken to hospital but they were unaware of their condition. The BBC has contacted Lincolnshire Police for comment.

Writing on social media, some club-goers said those who had "behaved badly" should be "ashamed" of their actions.

The venue said it would now review CCTV footage and work with the authorities to identify the individuals involved.
