Free breakfast service brings 'companionship and love'

Volunteers cook a hot breakfast for those in need

Volunteers at a charity offering free hot breakfasts say vulnerable people can find "companionship and love" through the service.

Big Breakfast Plus operates out of the Pilgrim Centre in Swindon, and supports the homeless and hungry with daily meals and hot drinks.

The service is open to anyone in need, and offers people a "welcoming space."

"I'm absolutely committed to what we're doing here and simply adore the fact we're able to provide a service within the community," said Charlotte Mannion, a trustee for the charity.
