Missing Cornwall man found safe after major search

A missing man from Cornwall has been found safe following an extensive two-day search, police have said.
Daniel Hicks, 54, was reported missing from the Polruan area on 16 June.
The search involved Devon and Cornwall Police, East Cornwall Search and Rescue, West Cornwall Search and Rescue, HM Coastguard, Coastwatch and Rapid Relief Team, as well as members of the public who volunteered.
Polruan Coastguard said it was "delighted" to hear Mr Hicks had been found safe.
On its Facebook page, Polruan Coastguard said it was asked to join the search at 03:10 BST on 17 June.
"The team searched into the early evening before being stood down and returning to station to prepare for further tasking should they be required," the post said.
"We are now delighted to report that just after midday today [18 June] we were informed the missing person had been located and was being cared for by South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust and we wish them the very best."
