Dual carriageway shut after crash

Part of the A14 in Cambridgeshire was closed after a crash, National Highways said.

The eastbound section near Huntingdon, between junction 19A at Spaldwick and junction 20 at Ellington, was shut following the collision on Thursday evening.

Emergency services were at the scene and the road was reopened at about 02:20 GMT on Friday, the roads authority said.

In a post on X, it thanked drivers for their patience during the incident.
