Second murder charge over shooting of boy, 16

A 17-year-old boy has been charged with the murder of Lathaniel Burrell, who was shot dead in south London.

Lathaniel, 16, died on Paradise Road near Stockwell Tube station on 4 March after sustaining gunshot wounds.

The 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is the second person to be charged with Lathaniel's murder after Omar Prempeh, 32, of Stanstead Road, Forest Hill, was charged on Saturday.

The 17-year-old is due at Bromley Youth Court while Mr Prempeh is due at the Old Bailey.
