Works associated with the a new section of A30 dual carriageway that opened last year are scheduled to be completed in the coming months.
The works will mean a number of closures to sections of the new road and other local roads are necessary, National Highways has said.
It will allow contractors to join up roads, carry out verge and telecommunications work and install a new multi-species animal tunnel.
Andrew Alcorn, National Highways' programme manager, said: "We thank people in advance for their co-operation and patience, and advise people to plan ahead and allow a little extra time for their journeys."
