Murder trial set after death of burgled man, 72

A murder trial date has been set for two men after a 72-year-old man died following an attack during a burglary.
Ryan Robbins, 33, and Wayne Milsom, 49, will appear at Bristol Crown Court on 28 July.
They have been charged with the murder of Stephen Ridgeway, who died on 7 December after he suffered injuries in the attack at his house on Tenby Road, Keynsham, five weeks earlier.
Mr Milsom, of Keynsham, pleaded not guilty at Bristol Crown Court on 28 February. Mr Robbins, also from Keynsham, did not attend but a new date is being set for him to enter pleas.
Both men are being held on remand.
Mr Ridgeway had told police the burglary happened when he answered the door in the middle of the night.
His condition worsened in the weeks following the incident and he died in hospital.
