A body has been found, during the search for a missing man, in Gloucester.

Gloucestershire Police confirmed the man's body was found on Tuesday while officers were looking for a 36-year-old who had been reported missing from Evesham, Worcestershire.

A spokesman for the force said formal identification has not taken place, but the family of missing man Lee Horton has been informed.

The man's death is not being treated as suspicious, police added.

Lee Horton left Bristol to travel home on 11 March, and was last seen on CCTV in Gloucester on the same day after getting off a train.

His family reported him missing on 12 March.

The police said a file will be prepared for the coroner.
