Drum and bass bike rave returns to city of dreaming spires

Hundreds of people followed a cycling DJ through the historic streets of Oxford for a "hectic, electric and so much fun" drum and bass bike rave on Sunday.
Adults and children on bicycles, scooters, rollerblades, skateboards - and even on foot - partied alongside Dom Whiting, known as the DJ On The Bike.
Mr Whiting, who rides through towns and cities on a bicycle modified with speakers and decks, kicked off his On The Bike rave at the Clarendon Building on Broad Street at 14:00 BST.
In a Facebook post ahead of the event, the DJ, from High Wycombe, said Oxford had been one of the event's original locations, "so this will be somewhat of a refresh when we return".

Starting his On The Bike raves during the Covid-19 lockdowns, Mr Whiting has gone on to amass more than 800,000 social media followers.
Thomas Maxwell, who took part on a scooter, said the day had been "hectic, electric and so much fun".
He said: "I was not expecting how many people would come out for it.
"The tunes were going, he's a really good DJ. I'll definitely go to the next one."
Mr Maxwell added that hearing drum and bass on the streets of Oxford had been "a complete contrast to the city".
Vikky Edwards and Darryl Hull, who travelled to the city from Leamington Spa in Warwickshire, said the atmosphere had been "brilliant".
"It was our first ride with him, so it was really cool," Ms Edwards said.
Mr Hull said he attended as he was "a big fan" of drum and bass music.
