It's been a week of unpredictable weather this week in Gloucestershire, with high winds, sunshine and heavy rain all making an appearance.

In this week's round-up of our favourite pictures of the week, we enjoy plenty of beautiful flowers blooming in the county and a popular over-50s event held at Newent Library in which six guinea pigs made a visit.

Stroud has also been in the spotlight this week after a series of posters have been spotted showing off some of it's iconic settings.

Bluebell season: They're here! Look at this gorgeous scene in Huntley - it's bluebells for miles and we're loving it.

Our weather watcher Forestfae sent this through to us and it made a rainy day this week feel brighter.

A man dressed as Jesus with long brown hair wears a white gown and a crown of thorns as he walks barefoot through Gloucester city centre, carrying a large wooden cross in the rain. He is surrounded by men dressed as Roman soldiers, with onlookers holding umbrellas as they walk by.

On Good Friday, an immersive street performance of The Way of the Cross - a re-enactment of Jesus' final days - took place in Gloucester.

The city's residents were invited to walk with Jesus as he made his last journey, and watch as he was nailed to the cross outside Gloucester Cathedral.
