A solicitor has been suspended for 12 months after concerns were raised about his behaviour.

The Solicitors Regulation Authority said Scott Halborg, of Deals & Disputes Solicitors LLP in Market Harborough, Leicestershire, was the subject of a Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal hearing on Tuesday.

The tribunal found the following allegations proved. It found he submitted applications that "were found to be totally without merit/abuse of process", had been made the subject of restraint orders, and "behaved in a manner which caused the court to express concern about his conduct".

Mr Halborg was also ordered to pay costs of £30,630.
