Worker dies days after falling through trench

A worker who was seriously injured after he fell through a trench at a construction site has died.
The 36-year-old man was working at an address in Amethyst Lane, Reading, at about 09:20 GMT on 19 February when the accident happened.
A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said the man died on Sunday and that his family is being supported by officers.
"The circumstances of his death is continued to be investigated by the police and HSE and a file will be prepared for the coroner," the spokesperson added.
Another person suffered minor injuries in last week's accident.
