Supermarket remains closed after cladding falls off

A large supermarket in Nottingham remains closed after a chunk of cladding fell off outside the covered car parking area.
The Tesco Extra in Bulwell closed on Saturday, with the supermarket giant saying parts of the building were cordoned off due to a "maintenance issue".
On Monday, images from the scene showed that part of the store's facade had broken away.
Tesco said the store would remain closed and work was under way to reopen.

Ramarra Furr, 24, lives opposite the store and said she was "shook awake" by the sound of the fallen cladding.
"I woke up to a massive bang sound and instantly checked my bedroom window," she said.
"It had all fallen down and it looked a mess. It was like the Titanic but with Tesco."

Kevin Brewer, 64, added: "There are lots of pensioners in the town who do their shopping here, so going without will be difficult for many.
"I came here to collect my medication from the pharmacy and get some food, but now I need to go elsewhere.
"This is really the only store I use, so I hope it is fixed soon."
Sue Graves, 89, said her son would have to do her shopping as she said she "can't physically get anywhere else".
She said: "I can't believe what has happened. I am gobsmacked.
"We have a B&M and an Iceland, but they do not have as much variety as Tesco.
"I'll get my family to shop for me whilst its closed. For elderly people without family, it will be quite hard for them."
A company spokesperson said: "Our Bulwell Extra store is temporarily closed due to a maintenance issue.
"We are sorry for the inconvenience, and we are working to reopen the store as soon as possible."
