A woman has been charged in connection to a suspected acid attack in which a man in his 30s was injured and remains in a serious condition in hospital, police have said.

Devon and Cornwall Police said Paris Wilson, 34, of The Quay in Plymouth was due to appear at the city's Magistrates' Court on Thursday.

She has been charged with conspiracy to murder, conspiracy to kidnap and participating in a criminal activity of an organised crime group, police said.

A number of other people have previously been charged in connection to the incident which happened at a property on Lipson Road, Plymouth at about 03:55 GMT on 21 February.
