Man who carried out sexual assault is jailed

An East Yorkshire man has been jailed for two years and eight months for sexually assaulting a woman.
Duncan Norman, of Main Street, North Frodingham, near Driffield, has also been put on the sex offenders register for life.
The 35-year-old, who had pleaded guilty to sexual assault at an earlier hearing, was sentenced at Hull Crown Court on 11 April.
Humberside Police said he had "violated a young woman for his own gratification".
PC Helen Kirk commended the victim's bravery for reporting the attack and for her strength throughout the investigation.
"Whilst it does not remove the suffering caused, I do hope this result can provide her with some reassurance in knowing that Norman will no longer be able to cause harm to anyone else," she said.
"I would encourage anyone who is a victim to please come forward and speak to us. When you are ready, we will be here for you, we will listen to you, and you will be taken seriously."
