Garage fire thought to be caused by charging point

A fire which broke out at a Land Rover showroom is believed to have been caused by an EV charging point.

Cleveland Fire Brigade was called to the building on Concorde Way in Preston Park, Stockton, at 20:21 GMT on Thursday.

The blaze was contained to the workshop of the garage and no cars were damaged, according to the fire service.

Crews had left the scene by 23:11.
