A route into a Shropshire town will be closed for 10 days for resurfacing work to be carried out.

Corvedale Road, Craven Arms, will be shut from 09:30 to 16:00 on weekdays, between 21 July and 1 August.

The work is part of Shropshire Council's programme to improve county roads.

Access to the area will be restricted to local residents who live within the closure, businesses, pedestrians and emergency vehicles.

A diversion will be in place, taking commuters south through Bromfield and back towards the town.

Local residents have been advised not to park on the road while the work is going on.
