Wolves announce ticket price freeze

Wolverhampton Wanderers have decided to freeze season ticket prices for next season.

The club faced backlash from supporters after announcing price increases before the start of the current season and backed down as a result.

It said at the time those increases were a "crucial step" in achieving its goals and continuing to compete at the highest level.

Next season will be the club's eighth successive Premier League campaign.

The freeze will mean an adult ticket behind the goals will cost from £38.68 per match, or £735 for the season.

Ticket prices for juniors, under-17s and over-65s will also be frozen.

The club said it has had the longest longest run in the top flight for more than 50 years.

Wolves head coach Vitor Pereira said: "We're building something together here - and the supporters are a massive part of that.

"When Molineux is loud and intimidating, it gives the team belief, it gives us energy."

The season ticket renewal process will begin on 7 May.
