A passenger ferry serving the Channel Islands and France is set to resume seasonal sailings.

The first Manche Iles Express sailing of 2025 from Jersey to Carteret will start on Thursday, with services from Guernsey to Diélette starting on 18 April and Jersey to Granville beginning on 24 April.

The firm said last month it carried more than 56,000 passengers in 2024 and had received a 35% increase in bookings for 2025.

Inter-island trips between Jersey to Guernsey begin on 9 May, and from Jersey to Sark on 10 May, said the company.

Correction Wednesday, 9 April, 2025: This story has been updated as it incorrectly stated inter-island sailings between Guernsey and Jersey had started, but they are due to begin on 9 May.
