Muck heap fire continues burning on farm

A muck heap has continued to burn a week after it was first reported as being on fire.
Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service was called to a farm in Chippenham, near Newmarket on the Suffolk border, at about 07:00 BST on 2 July.
Crews have since worked to break up the stack and prevent the flames spreading to nearby crops.
Smoke could remain in the Red Lodge area and on the A11 for "a couple more days", according to the service.
A spokesperson added crews were "doing what they can to resolve the incident as quickly as possible".

Firefighters have been reinspecting the site during the day and evening to make sure it remained under control.
They were assisted by the farmer using machinery, as well as rakes, forks and hoses.
The spokesperson added: "Due to the nature of material, this is a slow process but they are making good progress.
"They hope the fire will be out by the weekend."
