Illegal cigarettes and vapes worth £25k seized

Illegal cigarettes, tobacco and vapes worth £25,000 have been seized in Burnley.

Lancashire Trading Standards officers worked with the police carrying out an operation last week.

They seized 997 packets of cigarettes, 173 pouches of tobacco and 523 vapes.

Officers said illegal tobacco and vapes are dangerous, as they could contain harmful ingredients, including arsenic and rat droppings.
