Man charged with attempted murder after pub theft

A 22-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder, burglary and theft that took place at a Berkshire pub.
The offences took place at the The White Hart Inn in Hamstead Marshall on 7 November, Thames Valley Police said.
The force said Jacob Power of Ash Tree Grove was also charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a private place on the same date in Hamstead Marshall.
He remains in custody and is due to appear at Reading Crown Court on 31 March.
