Man charged after police cars rammed in west Belfast

A 50-year-old man has been charged in connection with an incident where two police cars were rammed during a pursuit in west Belfast.

He faces a number of charges including driving when unfit through drink or drugs, dangerous driving and failing to stop for police.

It happened around 02:30 GMT on Saturday.

Four officers sustained minor injuries but remained on duty.

He is expected to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court on 16 April.
