Crash on dual carriageway leads to delays

A section of the A12 near Chelmsford was closed following a crash.

Drivers were warned of up to 30-minute delays on the A12 southbound between junction 17 at Great Baddow and junction 16 at West Hanningfield just before 07:00 GMT.

At about 11:00, National Highways said all lanes had reopened.

An Essex Police spokesperson said a barrier was damaged in the single -ehicle crash.
