Bristol amphitheatre 'best location for live music'

Bristol Sounds, the annual concert series on the city's harbourside, has begun with performances from Supergrass and Kaiser Chiefs.
The series of open-air concerts at the Lloyds Amphitheatre will continue with Texas on Friday before The Fratellis headline on Saturday and Olly Murs brings the series to a close on Sunday.
Organisers say they expect about 22,000 people to attend the events over the course of the week.
Connor Cupples, promoter at Crosstown Concerts and Bristol Sounds, said: "There's nothing better than being back at Bristol Sounds with the waterfront packed for live music."

Mr Cupples said: "Supergrass' 30th album anniversary was the perfect start on Wednesday and the atmosphere was incredible."
With the final shows likely to sell out, he said "as if we needed more proof that the amphitheatre is the best location for live music in the city".
