Cyclist in critical condition after crash with car

A cyclist is in critical condition following a crash with a car in the west end of Glasgow.

The 57-year-old suffered serious injuries in the collision involving a silver Vauxhall Zafira at the junction of Hyndland Road and Westbourne Road at about 16:20 on Monday.

He was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

Police closed the road for about four hours to carry out investigations. Officers have appealed for any drivers who have dashcam footage from the area to come forward.
