Woman, 78, held after man dies in bus stop crash

A woman in her 70s has been arrested after a 64-year-old man died following a collision.

Emergency services were called to Slade Lane in Manchester at 20:10 BST on Monday.

Greater Manchester Police said the crash happened at or near a bus stop.

The driver, a woman aged 78, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

Officers investigating the incident are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or has any other information to come forward.
