Police believe cyclists deliberately hit by mopeds

A man has been arrested over an incident in which police believe two cyclists were deliberately knocked over by moped drivers.
One of the two cyclists suffered potentially life-changing injuries after the incident in Mount Road in Theydon Garnon, near Epping, at about 09:45 GMT on Sunday.
Following investigations, Essex Police said it believed the pair were deliberately hit with the mopeds.
The force said it was working to establish whether the crash was linked to two similar incidents, including one in nearby Coopersale Common.
The BBC has asked the police what offence the suspect has been arrested on suspicion of.
Officers have appealed for anyone else with information, such as CCTV or dashcam footage, to come forward.
