Man arrested after stalking incidents appeal

A man in his 40s has been arrested following an appeal for help in identifying a suspect over repeated "inappropriate approaches" at an address in York.

North Yorkshire Police said they had released a series of CCTV images following a series of stalking reports.

A force spokesperson said: "From information we received following the appeal we identified and located a man who matches the description."

Officers said the man had been arrested on suspicion of stalking and was currently in police custody.
