A 17-year-old girl has been taken to hospital after she was assaulted in a wooded area of Bradford, according to West Yorkshire Police.

Police officers were called to the incident just off Abb Scott Lane, at the junction with School Fold, in the Low Moor area of Bradford at about 20:00 GMT on Tuesday.

A boy, also 17, has been arrested on suspicion of assault and remains in police custody.

The girl's injuries were described as "serious but not life threatening" and a force spokesperson said they were treating the assault as "domestic related".
